We are excited to present our 2025-2026 Heart of the Arts season! As Northeast Texas Community College celebrates its 40th anniversary over the coming year, we’re proud to bring you another fantastic lineup at the Whatley Center. Our goal is truly to be the Heart of the Arts in Northeast Texas!

Our Entertainment Series begins October 21 with Four by Four, a tribute to The Beach Boys, The Bee-Gees, The Beatles, and Motown. Holiday cheer comes with Michael Cavanaugh’s A Merry Rockin’ Christmas. In 2026, enjoy I Am, He Said — celebrating Neil Diamond’s music — and the return of The Doo Wop Project with Echoes of the Street. Special events include The Magic of Bill Blagg family show and Twitty & Lynn, featuring Conway Twitty’s grandson and Loretta Lynn’s granddaughter!

We’re also bringing back our Sounds of Northeast series with RokDox, East Texas Men in Harmony, and the Mt. Pleasant Community Orchestra, plus Theatre Northeast productions and foyer art exhibits.
